All Visa Medical Tests are carried out at Stemz Healthcare center within few hours after applicants complete their visa application process and biometric enrolment at the Qatar Visa Center. The Visa Medical Test is automatically scheduled when the applicants book their appointment for biometric enrolment via QVC website. The time interval between both appointments is one hour.Example: If the biometric is schedule on 9:30 am as per the QVC website appointment scheduler, the visa medical test is automatically set on 10:30am.
You will require the following documents to complete the Visa Medical Test:
- Unique Identification issued by Qatar Visa Center
- Original and valid passport
- E-visa provided by the sponsor/employer
- Sponsor’s complete details such as address, email and contact information
- Any document(s) and paper(s) provided by Qatar Visa Center
You can schedule an appointment two working days prior to the desired date and time of visit at the center.
Example: If an applicant would like to visit center on June 15th, then he/she will need to schedule an appointment before 12:00 AM June 13th
The visa medical report will only be valid for 60 days after the test.
This is a process by which applicants will be registered with the center through fingerprinting and eye scans. All Applicants must complete the biometric enrolment process at the Qatar Visa Center before proceeding for a Visa Medical Test.
All appointments booked through the Qatar Visa Center appointment scheduling system are automatically eligible for a Visa Medical Test on the same day.
Applicant is not required to schedule an appointment separately for Visa Medical Test, except in the case of missed appointment, whereby the applicant will need to re-schedule the appointment via Qatar Visa Center website.
You can change your appointment timing on Qatar Visa Center website by selecting Manage Appointment>Modify or visiting the Qatar Visa Center at least 24 hours prior to actual visit. You will require the Unique Identification in order to make any changes.
Family and Group appointments are available through the online booking system by selecting a group booking. In order to complete the booking process you will need the unique ID and passport for every family/ member and a valid email address.
Yes. You need to have all the relevant details of the person(s) including his or her valid passport details and email address. The person’s identity will be checked using his or her passport at the Qatar Visa Center.

If you have completed a Visa Medical Test within the last 3 months and you are required to do the same test for a different category of visa, please contact the Qatar Visa Center for instruction.
A price list for the different types of immigration health examinations is available on our website. If our health professionals determine you need further tests to complete your examination then additional payments may be required. The Visa Medical Test is considered an ‘assessment of health’ and is not covered by private health insurance.

Please refer to the Qatar Visa Center website for specific details. You can re-schedule your appointment to another time at least 24 hours prior to your appointment through our online booking system by selecting Modify/Cancel Booking or by visiting the Qatar Visa Center. You will require the same details you used to make the appointment to make any changes to a booking.
- It is recommended to arrive at the center at least 15 minutes before the appointment.
- If you are late for your appointment by more than 15 minutes, then your appointment will be re-scheduled.
- The Visa Medical Test takes approximately 2 hours to be completed
- Eat and drink as normal prior to your appointment.
- You need to have a valid passport and completed Health Declaration Form at the Medical Center.
- Do not wear any metallic objects such as jewelry when you come for the medical test.
- Do not bring any luggage or bags as these are not allowed in the centre.
- Food items are not allowed inside the center
- Only applicants are allowed in the centre, However, if applicant is disabled or a minor then he/she can be accompanied by another person to assist.
- Do not carry laptops or any other electronic devices, apart from your mobile phone.
- Taking pictures/photographs without the permission of authorized personnel in the centre is prohibited
- You will be required to sign a consent form before starting the visa medical process.
Please bring the followings:
- Current valid passport
- All documents released by Qatar Visa Center
- Unique ID
- Any medial report(s) related to specific health condition
- Prescription glasses or contact lenses (if you use)
If you have previously been investigated or treated for TB, it is mandatory to bring all related reports such as X-ray reports, etc.
It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the appointment. The Visa Medical Test takes approximately 2 hours to be completed.
If you do not bring your passport, we will not be able to conduct your Visa Medical Test. In that case, you will be required to re-schedule your appointment to the next available time/date
During the visa medical test process, if there is any finding by the doctor and/or nurse, any abnormal Lab investigation or findings in X-ray report, additional medical tests/ consultation may be required. In these cases, the applicant will have to revisit the Stemz Healthcare Center.
If the applicant doesn’t visit the center within 4 weeks from the date of his/her first visit, then applicant will have to go through the entire visa medical process again and the current medical process will be deemed expired. Medical Referrals will require applicant to collect a referral letter from the center, visit the specialist referred to, complete the required medical tests and return to the center with the referral report/ invoices.
During the referral letter collection visit, if required by the applicant, Stemz Healthcare will assist the applicant in scheduling an appointment with the specialist in the referred hospital. If the applicant is required to get any additional investigation (Radiology/Lab), this must be done at a certified and approved laboratory/center.
Once the applicant collects the referral letter from the center, he/she will have 4 weeks’ time to submit the referral report received from the respective specialist, and/or complete the required procedure as defined in the referral letter. In case of any further delay, the applicant will have to go through the entire visa medical process again and the current medical process will be deemed expired.
RESULTS AND FOLLOW UP
Stemz Healthcare will submit your medical test results to the respective authority. Please allow 10-15 business days for the visa medical assessment before your results are available. If you have any questions regarding your visa medical assessment, contact Qatar Visa Center .
We are supportive of reasonable preferences. In case of female doctor assistance, we will do our best to accommodate you as long as you notify your preference(s) prior to the appointment.
All applicants are required to remove jewelry and/or any metallic accessories. Long hair must be tied back and away from the face and front body area.
We do not recommend urine test during the menstruation period, as this may alter results. It is advisable to schedule the appointment after 5 days of completing menstruating period.
If you normally wear a head covering (hijab), you can still wear this at the time of medical examination. However, at some point of time, your face must be clearly visible for a photograph from the bottom of your chin to above your eyebrows, including both cheeks for identity check.
In case of a pregnancy it is imperative you notify the receptionist and X-ray technician immediately after arriving at the center.
A legal guardian or parents can be present along with their child under 16 years old. Children, with the age of 16 years & above and/or who are not attending via family booking will undergo a visa medical test independently.
Applicants are allowed to bring their children under 16 years old. However, we do not have childminding facilities at the center, we recommend applicants to find alternative arrangements.
No. However, your photograph might be taken on the same day to confirm your identity. Your face must be uncovered for the photograph. Please note that privacy screens are available at the center, if required.
No. It is necessary to arrive for your appointment at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. All appointments are pre-scheduled and you will be checked-in for your scheduled appointment block even if you arrive early.
You will receive an update via SMS on the registered number. Stemz Healthcare Center is unable to provide an update about the processing of your visa application. If you have confirmed that your e-Medical case has been submitted and need further advice, please contact Qatar Visa Center.
Visa Medical result can be available within 72 hours of completing the Visa Medical Test. Applicant can collect the report as per the communication happened at the time of visit.
If certain tests are positive, then applicant will have to visit the center for retesting, follow-up or referral. It is important to provide the correct contact information. If the retesting/referral process takes longer than two months, then the entire Visa Medical Test must be repeated.
